How to know a message is really from ELC.
Scammers target school parents in Bangkok, often over LINE, and often about money. Here is how to check any message in ten seconds.
The official channels, all of them
- This site: portal.elc.ac.th
- The school website: elc.ac.th
- Email from an address ending @elc.ac.th, and nothing else
- The Parent App, for your child's learning
Three rules that never change
- We never ask for payment through LINE chat or any other chat message.
- We never ask you to pay into a personal bank account. School payments go to the school.
- We never rush you. A real school message survives you taking a day to check it.
When something feels off
Stop. Pay nothing, click nothing, reply to nothing. Contact the school office yourself, using an address you already know, not one from the suspicious message:
Checking a real message costs a minute. Trusting a fake one can cost a term's fees. We would always rather answer a "was this you?" email.
