ELC Portal v0.8
This week  /  Report a concern
Safeguarding

Worried about a child? Say something.

You do not need to be sure, and you do not need proof. If something feels wrong, tell us and let the people trained for this take it from there.

This page is here for the rare moment something feels wrong, but the care behind it runs all year. Every child's safety and wellbeing comes first at ELC, and that is a promise the whole community keeps together, with teachers and families in partnership. Read the story on our blog.

Who to speak to

Speak to any teacher or the school office, in person or by email: . They will bring in the campus safeguarding lead the same day. Named safeguarding leads for each campus are being added to this page.

What happens after you report

Your concern goes to the campus safeguarding lead, who decides the next step the same day. The school follows a written process, from first report to action: you can read the safeguarding triage chart and the full safeguarding and child protection policy. You will be taken seriously, and raising a concern in good faith is always the right thing to do.
