Music at Armonia is part of one package: music, drama and dance performance, together. Making music feeds nearly every part of how a child grows: thinking, feeling, movement and language, and with them the quieter habits of self-discipline and confidence.
A concert is a child's way of showing their family what they have been learning, and at ELC the whole community turns up to listen. When the school stages a musical, whole year groups share the stage: Wonderland the Musical packed the courtyard at night, with every child making a role their own. Read the story on our blog.
The singing carries through the year. One Christmas the children staged How to Train Your Reindeer, a musical performed in full costume and full voice. These are ELC performances, made by the whole school; inside Armonia, performances anchor the year.
